Welcome to our Neck of the Woods, Central Otago
We’re not interested in making mass produced sh*t. We believe in bold tastes and bolder characters.
Our goal is to make authentic wines that harness the weird and wild of Central Otago, staying true to the land with minimal intervention winemaking. We craft small batch fine wines including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and an Orange wine that show off this unique and wonderous wine region.
Those that follow the rules rarely make history. So we forge our own path. And do things our way.
Are we unconventional? Yes. Uncompromising? Absolutely.
But that’s exactly what makes our Neck of the Woods worth exploring.
Jen Parr – Winemaker
Neck of the Woods are lucky enough to call Jen Parr their leading lady/winemaker. An Oregon native and graduate of Stanford University, Jen has called Central Otago home since 2007 and she became a NZ citizen in 2013.
She has extensive international winemaking experience including in the USA, France, South Africa and Australia in addition to 17harvests in NZ.
Jen has been a Winemaker in Otago since 2007. In 2018 she was awarded the Winemaker of the Year at the NZ International Aromatic Competition and was nominated as one of six finalists for the Gourmet Traveler Magazine NZ Winemaker of the Year in 2019 for her work with Valli.
